Nouveau Turns to InfoTrax Systems for MLM Software Expertise

ABOUT NOUVEAU

Nouveau Cosmecuticals is a direct sales organization that is on a growth ride. Long hours, extensive planning, and a constant need to adapt, seem to describe the skin wellness company that launched in November of 2002. Yet to listen to Ace Hawkins, the company's co-founder and CEO, none of this is really work. "I might put in ten hours a day, six days a week," states Hawkins, "but it isn't really work to me. I love doing what I do."

Ace, who began life in the network-marketing arena about six years ago, rose to the top of a party plan company. When the opportunity presented itself, she decided to join her network marketing experience, her strong belief in the Nouveau product line, and her passion to serve as a mentor to others into an opportunity that has been met with great enthusiasm.


THE CHALLENGE

Mid 2002? Start-up time. Time to look at vendors of MLM software solutions. Hawkins' approach to business is what led her to look at InfoTrax Systems. "We believe that the right approach to building a successful business is to focus on what we do that is exceptional, then turn to various experts to handle the parts of the business, that are their specialties." Stated Hawkins. "We outsource a tremendous amount of the daily operations. There are people who are better than we are at manufacturing, call-center management, and software systems. We turn to these experts to help us manage our business, freeing up our time to focus on what we do best."

THE SOLUTION

As the diligence work and MLM software selection process got underway at Nouveau, Ace turned to InfoTrax Systems based on her past experience with them. "We had a tight deadline. We knew it, but wanted to make sure we had a vendor who understood what we needed to accomplish, and could help us get there." The results, "As I spoke to the people at InfoTrax, they instilled confidence that we could pull this off. They worked with us and we had the system up and running in twelve days. It was absolutely fantastic. One of the best business choices I've ever made."

All of the technology that Nouveau has implemented is InfoTrax-centric. Nouveau uses the InfoTrax BackOffice system to manage contacts, orders, prospects, and their compensation structure. The company also relies heavily on InfoTrax WebMeeting and the InfoTrax Business Web Sites as important communication, training, and marketing tools. Ace conducts a weekly Business Building WebMeeting, as well as a Team Coaching WebMeeting every two weeks. Many of the Nouveau consultants participate live. For those who can't, the WebMeetings are archived and can be viewed later.

When you start as a consultant at Nouveau, you'll receive no manual. The company believes that paper manuals become outdated too quickly. Instead, based on InfoTrax technology, all information is provided to the consultant in an electronic format. And that information is extensive. From starting and developing prospects, to the technical research that went into the Nouveau product line. It's all produced electronically, allowing quick updates and additions.

Ace and the Nouveau team realize that they don't know all of the ins-and-outs of the InfoTrax software. She adds, "But I don't have to know, because I am backed up by a big team at InfoTrax that does know."

While a Charles Schultz cartoon character she isn't, when asked what the biggest benefit Nouveau has derived from it's relationship with InfoTrax, the personable, yet hard-driving Hawkins is quick to respond, "They are a big security blanket. If we run into a problem, I have the confidence that together we'll get it fixed - giving me the time to focus on what I like best, which is supporting and working with our consultants in the field."
