One of the major benefits XanGo derived from implementing the InfoTrax products is the ability it gives them to more effectively open new international markets - a key to the company's growth. In the five months they have been live with the product they have been able to open six new markets. In addition, they have been able to go back to existing markets and update them, changing out U.S. dollar transaction processing for local currency. With InfoTrax's VirtualOffice product they are able to customize the web interface for each market; specifically matching their local language and currency.

The system XanGo was using before InfoTrax did not easily support international markets and because of this not only was their international growth stifled but they also had to rely on outside sources. For example, before using InfoTrax's VirtualOffice, XanGo had opened a market in Japan but they were using an outside source to do all the Japanese processing. According to Russ Fletcher, XanGo Senior Director of Information Technology, this was not the way XanGo wanted to be doing business. "It was very expensive and very dangerous in the sense that all our data was being handled by others; not something we wanted to do long term," he said. Now with InfoTrax they are able to support themselves in whichever market they decide to enter, no longer relying on expensive outside sources.

Centralized MLM Software System

The InfoTrax's MLM software ensures that all the data and analysis is located in one central, easily accessible location. Harris finds this central data location to be a great advantage for the company. "One of the big advantages is that we have a lot of the functionality all encompassed in the same application, where before we had to actually develop peripheral type functionality outside of our core system because the core system couldn"t handle it," she said. "So it's nice that it's all in one spot. So when a distributor calls in we have all the information accessible from a single location."

Another benefit they have seen deals directly with one of the keys to a successful MLM business. According to Scott Smith, one of the primary goals XanGo has realized since implementing the InfoTrax MLM software is their high confidence in commission calculations. "Calculating the commissions is just not a concern; it happens like clockwork," he said.

The central data location has also made it easier for critical analysis to be completed. "Based on the DataTrax data architecture, we've been able to create a data warehouse that allows us to slice and dice the data in different ways and quickly and easily identify who our leaders are and how we can help them," said Smith. "We know who the emerging leaders are out there that we can go out and focus our field activities on," he said.

Cost Reduction

Harris also finds the DataTrax's central core helpful and timesaving, thus cost reducing, when training employees. "It's the advantage you get with any central type application in that the training is a lot more simplified because once you've trained them on DataTrax, they essentially know the core system," she said. "When you have a bunch of diverse systems that have various interfaces, you have a myriad of different things you have to train on. That's been a real advantage from the support side."

SUMMARY

Overall the InfoTrax solution has helped XanGo continue the execution of their strategic plans for unparalleled distributor support and sales growth. Expansion into international markets, and proper support for those markets is unconstrained by system limitations. They are also able to do much more analysis and strategic planning with their business data. By running all the business processes and data in a central location they can manage the business seamlessly and keep abreast of what is going on in the company.

With DataTrax in place, XanGo is now free to pursue strategic goals for itself that previously would not have been possible. According to Smith one of the company's biggest goals will likely be reached with the support of their new technology. "XanGo has a goal to be the MLM that is the fastest to build to a billion dollars in revenue and we would not have been able to do that on the old system. InfoTrax is going to make it possible for us to do that."
